The Saakhelu Kiwe Kame is a ritual of the Nasa indigenous peoples of Colombia, which deals with the revitalization of mother earth in the context of global warming and post-conflict Colombia.
A matter of months, a matter of years. The meaning of time and place during the unpredictable waiting spans in asylum seeking procedures, made visible through a cinépoetic approach. The short-film builds around the encounter between the three filmmakers and the protagonist Obaida and the time they spent together at Skaramagas Camp (Athens) on his invitation.
The story of the documentary Pothos concerns the Afghan refugee Rahmat who at the age of 15 in 2002, traveled from Afghanistan, through Iran and Turkey, to arrive at the Greek island Lesvos. The aim of this documentary was to illuminate some aspects of the daily life of refugees in Athens and to highlight the problems they face in their daily life and focus to their integration into the Greek society.
Along with dozens of other young Moroccan boys between 8 and 18 years old, Mohammed lives on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea in the port of Melilla, a Spanish autonomous town on the east coast of Morocco. Mohammed lives in the hope of one day stowing away aboard a freighter headed for Europe.
This is an experimental "rom com”. The mythology of Bororo people designs specific paths of marriage for each clan. It prescribes the path one should take on the moral village plan in order to find their “true” husband or wife. The film navigates Bororo myth, telling the story of two Bororo girls who set out in search of their mythical Mr. Right.
The short film explores the life of Ty Jeffries, a classically composed singer/songwriter who describes himself as an introverted extrovert. The film asks us to question the notion of hope and the blind optimism that usually underpins it which ultimately leads us nowhere. Rather, viewing hope as an inconstant journey that is born out of tragedy and fear may finally take us to those places that we never thought we would dare to go.

An isolated 19-year old boy is fascinated in portraying Nazis in military living history re-enactments and struggles for acceptance.
Making weaves out of stinging nettles, called thebvodo is an artistic activity whose origins can be traced to the Bronze Age. While the Germans used it during both World Wars, the British attempted to go commercial. Today, Solhou-ii Mekru is a guardian of this dying art and she continues to weave thebvodos sourced from nature, finished by her hand and untouched by machines.
A documentary about children who live, work and study at The Terminal marketplace, Guatemala City. The Terminal is a market, bus station and home to hundreds of families. It has been described as 'a city within a city', and presents many risks for children who exist beyond the reach of mainstream schooling. In this film we learn how two volunteer educational outreach projects help them to develop a sense of belonging, hope and opportunity.
